Psalm 2:8, "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."
Foreign missions has always been in the heart and mind of God. He has one Son and He made Him a missionary from heaven! Think about it. If missions is so important to God it should also be important to us. The text I gave you tells us of the amazing promise of God. God says that if we but ask Him that He will give us the heathen for our inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for our possession. The lack in missions isn't money or manpower. Do you know what is desperately lacking in missions? It's the lack of faith. If we children of God would have the faith to take God at His Word and ask Him for the heathen and ask Him for the uttermost parts of the earth He will give it to us! Ask. Go. Win!
